Never Surrender is preparing to rock the 2006 St. Ambroise Montreal Fringe Festival with our 3rd lip synch rock musical in as many years. Our previous shows, "Never Surrender Saves a Baby!", and "Never Surrender's Greatest Adventure!" have rocked the festival and enjoyed sold out runs and critical acclaim. Dudes, Ryan and I just did this awesome show for Chinese New Year at Ruby
Rouge Restaurant in China town! The crowd was the coolest. Did you guys
know that Chinese people celebrate New Year's on a different day than
us? The restaurant was really classy and it had a huge stage with red
carpeting. There was also this radical gold dragon and phoenix on
the walls behind us. The owner Jim told me that it was real gold too!
The highlights of the concert were Under Pressure by Queen and David
Bowie and Ryan's vocal solo for Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" (I
got to go to the dessert table while all eyes were on Ryan!) There
were about three hundred people ready to get their New Year's groove on and
they had a fan dance troupe on before us. They tried to get us to eat
some chicken and beef but I'm a vegetarian and I was afraid to insult
anyone so I said I was on a diet. They believed me! I did drink some
Chinese beer called Tsing Tao and it was Awesome! I am very glad to
now have two New Year's parties to go to every year. I am blessed with so
many cool opportunities being the lead back up vocalist in a lip synch
band.

Mr. Rougeau caught our live performance at Boccocinos in Laval as we electrified the CFCF Telethon of Stars and asked us to perform
the halftime show on his upcoming Wrestling Show tour.

Happy New Year! Never Surrender had a blast rocking in the new year as Mike and Ryan performed at the annual Comedy Nest New Years Bash at Kola Note. Tim was at YukYuks in Kitchener for New Years
as he continues touring his solo project "Stand-Up Comedy".

We had a blast last night at the Concordia Alumni Cabaret! The acts were great and the kissing booth was hot! We helped raise money for
the Concordia Alumni Scholorship Fund.

Just for Laughs 2005 was awesome. We rocked out with Lewis Black at "The Stupidity Awards"- showing Ashlee Simpson how to get things done. Mike P and Tim showed off their slick choreography in "Under Pressure / Ice, Ice, Baby" while Ryan pulled
off his biggest jump-kick to date. Photos to come.

Amazing News!!! Scott Faulconbridge has signed on to play "Big Al" in
Never Surrender's Greatest Adventure!
| Scott began his career with the critically acclaimed, award-winning improv troupe, the On The Spot Players and has since developed the popular On the Spot television show. While with On the Spot, Scott honed a unique and charming stage presence which he's parlayed into a successful stand-up career. He is dubbed by Hour Magazine as "Montreal's Most Promising Comedian." |  |
Scott's breakout success at the Just for Laughs Montreal
International Comedy Festival drove him to many live and TV appearances in the
United States. He tours all across Canada
and the United States, opening for such acts as Steven Wright, Penn &
Teller, and Gloria Estefan. Scott is also one of the top headliners at comedy
clubs and colleges across North America and has recently taped his second
network half-hour comedy special. Look for him this December on the big screen
alongside Susan Sarandon in "Noel".
